 The Rai'u-jin monks are fabled for many things: their healing prowess, their agility, and their honor. But they were also once great magic masters. Long ago they held a city with enough grandeur to rival Laz'erous - the ruling city of magics. In a brilliant show of vanity, the ruling council of Rai'u-jin unleashed a powerful wave of energy. They had hoped the display of power would make their fair city the seat of magic. Instead, it had unintended side-effects. The wave obliterated many buildings and sent chunks of earth flying into the sky. The city fell apart, and the ruling council had to face the devastation they had caused. Using the last of their combined magic, they reined in the flying rocks, and sent them into a gentle orbit around one another. On those rocks they built homes, small, and humble, and there they began anew.
The Monastery still stands to this day, though the original council is now long gone. The scars in the earth below them are barely visible, and any remaining ruins have been claimed by nature. 
Dragons frequently visit the Monastery to rest, relax, and rejuvenate themselves. The soft tinkles of the wooden chimes, the smell of the incense and cheery blossoms, and beautiful view of the night sky make the Rai'u-jin Monastery a true sight to behold.
